Sailing

We are excited to announce our upcoming sailing initiatives in Odisha, launching initially in four coastal districts: Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Puri, and Berhampur. Each district will host four trainees who will undergo national certification courses to become proficient sailors under the guidance of the Sailing Federation of India. Our immediate focus is on recruiting 16 kite surfers from these districts, who will progress through certification levels 1, 2, and 3. This training will empower them to lead sailing activities independently within their communities. Upon completion, each participant will receive essential equipment sets, aimed at both practice and promotional use in their respective districts. We are dedicated to fostering local talent and promoting sailing as a sport in a structured and supportive environment. To ensure the sustainability of this project, we invite corporate houses or district sports and tourism funds to contribute towards equipment purchases. In return, sponsors will have the opportunity to brand the equipment or have their logos displayed on sails or kites, thereby promoting tourism and corporate identity across the region. This initiative marks a significant step towards nurturing maritime skills and community engagement along Odisha's vibrant coastline.
