Biography
Narayan Munda, a tribal orphan from Sundergarh district, was just 9 years old when adopted by OYAOdisha Yachting Association. In a remarkably short span, he rose to become India's top-ranked player in his age category, inspiring youngsters like Raza Ahmed Khan and Debasmita Kar, whom he initially trained and who now hold the number 1 rank in sailing under their respective age categories. Upon turning 18, Narayan qualified for life-saving and power boat operating licenses, in addition to his national sailing certificates, earned from the National Institute of Water Sports. Currently employed at the Kalinga Divers Foundation Trust at Silver City Boat Club, Narayan continues to exemplify dedication and achievement in his pursuits.
