Captain Saroj Kumar Pradhan served in the Indian Navy on ships and aircraft for 35 years as an Anti-Submarine Warfare specialist and naval aviator. During his tenure in the Navy, he saw action in  Kargil War and Sri Lanka operation. He was the Navy champion in  windsurfing. In his last posting as the Deputy Naval Officer-in-Charge, he was responsible for naval operations and coastal security of the state.Currently, he serves as the President of OYA.
